What makes a good or bad website?

Good sites

Good websites will be easy to read, navigate, and be visually appealing while making it easy for the user to find what they are looking for, and to bring them also to the intended goal of the site. Here are features that I liked about other sites.

An amazing first impression homepage

Having big beautiful book covers scrolling across the screen immediately locks the user into the site.

As seen in the slider are options for purchasing content via downloads and subscriptions. Also, interactive examples of the content itself, as well as, establishing credibility.

Bad sites

Bad sites can be frustrating and cause you to lose returning customers. They can include hidden fees, over complicated details with to many distractions, slow loading times, and dead links.

To provide quality children’s entertainment that is wholesome for all ages, where teachers and parents can let children enjoy without any concern for inappropriate content.

The target audience is parents and teachers, who will lead children to my product because of its wholesome nature.

I am going to use a rounded font, and larger buttons and visuals to make it feels real kid friendly, and here is art style that I use: [Vibrant 2D digital art, clean bold outlines, flat cel-shading, high contrast, cheerful animation style, expressive character design]

with over 100 stories, navigation will include stories by length, themes, and values.

The graphics will include “Download Now” buttons, and the brand logo.
